Program Overview
Let your inner artist come out to play! Surrounded by the natural beauty of the Adirondacks and its brilliant fall colors, this hands-on workshop invites you to explore how creative gestures - whether bold or delicate—can express emotions, tell stories, and spark inspiration. This program is taught by Terri Fraser, a contemporary American artist whose multidisciplinary practice spans oil painting, sculpture, and mixed media.
Using materials including paint, found objects from nature, fabric, and even everyday refuse, you’ll push inspirational boundaries and awaken your creativity as you discover new approaches to making art. We’ll experiment with simple printing, weaving, and sewing techniques while playing with color, texture, and natural elements.
By the end of the workshop, you'll take home a finished (or near-finished) creation and, more importantly, an experience that encourages you to explore, play, and create with freedom and joy.
There will be no rules—except maybe science, and even that’s optional.
