The CNY Women’s Network, in partnership with Great Camp Sagamore, invites you to Network Navigation, A Networking Mixer & Panel Discussion on Thursday, September 11th, from 7:15 to 8:30 PM, hosted at the historic Great Camp Sagamore.

This free, public event offers a chance to connect with business owners, executives, and professionals from across Upstate New York while gaining insights into networking, building partnerships, and cultivating community.

The panel, titled “Network Navigation: Tips and Strategies for Building Connections That Matter,” will be moderated by Alex Canavan, founder of the CNY Women’s Network and host of the Cultivate CNY podcast. She’ll be joined by other women leaders to share practical strategies for intentional networking, creating success through collaboration, building community (even in rural places), and forming impactful partnerships. After the panel, attendees can put their new skills into practice during an informal networking mixer.

Whether you’re a business owner, emerging leader, or community builder, this event offers inspiration, actionable insights, and a welcoming space to expand your network.

You’ll Walk Away With:

  • Practical ways to build connections even if you're new, introverted, or feel like an outsider

  • Honest insight into the hidden challenges of networking and how to move through them

  • Strategies for building community in rural or tight-knit areas where “everyone already knows everyone”

  • One clear action you can take this week to grow your network in a way that feels right for you

Interactive Segments:

  • A Give, Ask, Offer Connection Sprint

  • A Two-Intro Challenge to help you expand your network on the spot

  • Q&A session with panelists

  • Time to connect with Alex Canavan and Elizabeth Ruscitto after the panel
